Aside from the mythical blade Excalibur, Arthurian legend will never be complete without the magical tales of Merlin. The tales of Merlin’s legendary figure standard description was first appeared in Historia Regum Britanniae by Geoffrey of Monmouth's, and after such the tale was passed throughout the ages.

BBC’s Merlin that follows the sagehood of Merlin’s youth, it might be influenced by Smallville as it features the youth of the icon we knew as the man of steel. Merlin can’t fight with swords like Arthur does but he knows how to knock off enemies using his telekenitic powers. I love to watch Merlin because for me, Julian Jones, Jake Michie, Julian Murphy and Johnny Capps created a fresh Merlin tale out of Colin Morgan. There some slight revisions of the Merlin tale but somehow it does not go beyond the Celtic myth. Katie McGrath, well, her role as Morgana is not so wickedly bad, in fact she’s so charming and loving but turn’s wicked later after knowing that she’s Arthur half-sister- that just prove that a girl’s beauty is cunning. Prince Arthur (Bradley James (II))? Whooah….aside from Guinevere, most girls probably wants him as their knight in a shining armor. It’s nice to see BBC’s old folk tale spelled with new schemes.

Next episode, Merlin Season 3 Episode 13: The Coming of Arthur: Part 1 folows the dangerous mission Arthur and Merlin embarks. They head to recover a powerful magical artifact the Cup of Life that carries the gift of immortality.

They are able to retrieve the Cup they, however, they fall prey to, a deceitful slave trader. They manage to flee when a trusted friend comes to their rescue but with Jarl's help, the Cup of Life falls in Morgause's hands. Now, the kingdom is in great danger as Morgause and Morgana pursue to overthrow Uther as they sisters count on an immortal army at their disposal.

There’s a lot of magic to catch so don’t miss to watch Merlin Season 3 Episode 13: The Coming of Arthur: Part 1 as it airs on Saturday November 27,
